Who we are

Dumani Stone was established in 2024 for two reasons: the need for American stone fabricators who can do customized, high quality work and a passion for making beautiful things. Our modern world often seeks to streamline, simplify and cheapen architecture. While we strive for efficiency and cost sensitivity, there are cases where timelessness and beauty are paramount. That’s where Dumani comes in. When architects and designers call for precisely shaped and polished stone we answer.

Our name “Dumani” is inspired by the Italian words, “due mani”, meaning two hands. Though we use state of the art machinery to produce pieces at scale, every piece that is created at Dumani requires the two hands of talented craftspeople.

We are proud to be an American manufacturing business taking part in an ancient industry. We love what we do and we seek to show that in all of our work.

  • CO FOUNDER/PRESIDENT

    Dallin grew up in Montana where he gained valuable experience in business and construction. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Iowa. He married his wife Miranda and they have 5 children. He graduated from BYU-Idaho in Business/Marketing. His early career was spent recruiting, leading, and managing teams of salespeople. He has experience in real estate and finance. He has a passion for the outdoors, people, faith in God, and, of course, stone.

  • CO FOUNDER/ HEAD OF QUALITY ASSURANCE

    Jeff has been in the stone world for over 30 years. His experience comes from the most valuable place possible for a business like Dumani: from being an installer. Having run multiple successful stone installation companies, Jeff is able to help Dumani see from our client’s perspective. He knows the needs of our clients, which enables us to provide a unique level of service. He has a gift for achieving next level quality in stone production and networking. People love working with Jeff. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Texas, where he learned to speak Spanish. He is a proud father and grandfather.

  • PARTNER/PRODUCTION MANAGER

    David also grew up in Montana with an extensive background in construction. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Iowa. He has four children with his wife, Rebecca. Having run his own business previous to joining Dumani, he is well suited to overseeing factory operations. Employees and clients love working with Dave because of his kindness and dedication. He has a passion for production and a gift for the mechanical.
